Words of Gratitude

Words come to me slowly tonight with a halting and uncertain energy.
Blue sky and sunshine filtered through the trees this morning.
An excursion to the heart of the city yielded success in the art of driving Sunday Vancouver streets to achieve a sought after goal.
This lovely and warm early fall day prefaced an early Thanksgiving meal with family and friends gathered together in laughter and love.
Our meal with no frills of gourmet recipes, china or linen had all the pieces together - turkey, potatoes, salad, and dessert(s).
Few words, then, are needed except words of gratitude
for each person, each morsel and each feeling that made up the whole of this day.
“All that we behold is full of blessings.”
~ William Wordsworth
