New babies are amazing
Tiny fingers and toes soft and reachingNose buds wrinkled and sensing smells
Eyes scrunched shut against sudden brilliant lights
Ears flat and hearing acutely for the first time.
A first cry, no matter how tiny, breaks everyone's heart
(well, at least mine)
New babies ~ becoming aware of life outside a watery world
Precious new personalities welcomed into the waiting family outside.
