Alert, aware, awake, air moist and cool, rain rolled slowly towards the city. The wooden bench was warm from brief sunshine. The power of vehicles minuscule against the power of the thick, bunched up clouds. No grand announcement of thunder and lightning, merely their presence and the smell of cool rain.
