Creative Intention

Colour and crayons
Paper dolls and dresses
Creativity comes easily to a child

Pencils and paper
Letters and lessons
Learning soaked up like a sponge

The soil of intention planted ~
nurtured, watered and raked
seeds of curiousity scattered and strewn

to lie softly while living grew up,
roots spread and grip the ground
to bloom shyly in bright morning sun.

Slowly intention sprouts
an idea, a need or a thought
to be nurtured and watered and raked.

“Often, it’s not about becoming a new person, but
becoming the person you were meant to be, and
already are, but don’t know how to be.”
~ Heath L. Buckmaster, Box of Hair; A Fairy Tale
