Community

Buttercups

Community
Communing
Communication
Complexity
Combinations

Intersections
Interactions
Small or large groups of humanity

Community has always
felt and sounded
supportive and kind.

Getting to know communities
as spools of threads colored with
old and new resentments
differing preferences
personal opinions that
build a multitude of tapestries
~ colours and texture woven into the fabric of community

From birth to death,
there are many narrow or broad pastures to traverse in each life.
Life events challenge us to accept
blossoming opportunities with
each graduation,
as we pass through the employment world,
and in maturity when new discovery awaits.

Each stage of our lives is an individual space
within a community tapestry.

For those of us fortunate enough to
work within
wander through
rest inside many communities
we have each been tiny buttercups spread throughout,
adding colour and hue to each community.

I know there is strength in the differences between
us. I know there is comfort, where we overlap.”
