Exploration

Divining a theme throws down the gauntlet for
exploration of vast landscapes, seascapes or the star filled sky
moving into ever deeper terrain
only the perimeters travelled and familiar.
Poking down roads with no sure signage,
flying into eternal darkness with only belief and moral compass guiding the trajectory through facts and figures,
light and dark,
story and tradition,
watching how the wordscape or image
nuanced, shaped and multicoloured, expands
raising questions yet to be answered
off shooting parallel themes
steady eye and hand seeking balance and perspective.

“Come to the book as you would come to an unexplored land.
Come without a map. Explore it and draw your own map.’
~ Stephen King, Hearts in Atlantis
