Taking sides from a distance is easy
when the 8 x 10 glossies
with sprinkles of sound bytes
air-brush magnificent landscapes or workscapes
begging us to take a side
building our arguments
through uninformed emotional goggles
without knowing enough details
until taking sides divides and conquers
leaving us without perspective and shaking our heads.
