Snow Beard's Song
Snow Beard, his snow cap rakishly on his head, sang a sweet song of softer temperatures when he could put away his cap and shave his beard. But until then, he would sing his songs to passersby huddled inside thick winter coats, scarves, toques and mitts. Few dogs wandered about and for that Snow Beard was grateful, for the snow around his roots was as white and pure as could be.
“When snow falls, nature listens.”
Lama Willa Miller
