snow drifted down
on the castle below.
Turrets were frozen,
the battle was stayed,
so the prince and princess
by the fireplace played.
They danced and romanced all cozy and warm, sparkling snow 'round the castle was doing no harm.

Raised on the prairies I am very aware that too much snow for too long is not a good thing, but I do miss the snow. There are at least two things that cannot be done with rain: making a snowman out of rain, and taking a picture of rain unless it's a prairie downpour! :) Susan
