When the playground
stills in the freezing snow
When the children
snuggle in the warmth of home
When parents long for
the release of summer days.
Snow white rabbits, long ears tipped in black,
on snow covered gravel, stay at the ready to hop.
“Hallo Rabbit,” he said” Is that you?“
“Let’s pretend it isn’t,” said Rabbit “and see what happens."
