A Real Challenge

Some of life’s challenges are
rather mundane
ordinary
nothing to write home about

Slowing down after a work day
seems, well, maybe difficult
but once feet are up on a pillow,
difficulty vanishes deep into the sofa

The real challenge is yet to come
getting back up, shoes back on, walking back to the car,
driving back to work to pick up a forgotten and necessary item.
Now there’s a real challlenge!
